SSU or Overhead Management Team Activation

IF THIS IS AN EMERGENCY, PLEASE CALL 911!

For Land and Inland Waters:

• 1. If the police have not been called, call them first.
• 2. To activate the Overhead Management Team or the Special Services Unit, please call:
  • In the Victoria area: 383-1011 and ask to be put through to the Duty Officer
  • Outside Greater Victoria: 1-800-663-6106 and ask to be put through to the Duty Officer
• The Duty Officer will contact the Incident Commander for SARBC, as well as the police (if this is an active or recent search).
• If a response is authorized then either the Overhead Management Team, the Special Services Unit (or both) will be activated.
