NEW Lost in the Woods Kit is Here!

Lost in the Woods - 2nd Edition

SARBC is pleased to announce that the Lost in the Woods II Instructor Kit is now available for purchase for $75.00 US (half the price of the original kit.)

The new kit contains:

Two Lost in the Woods II Movies:

Movie 1:  SARBC's I'm Lost - Lost in the Woods II approx: 15 minutes in length.

This video follows the traditional one with the Narrator covering many of the points. A new segment has been aded to the beginning of the video showing a second family arriving and pointing out the boundaries to their child. This was added at the request of the author, Mrs. Politano.

Movie 2:  I'm Lost - SARBC's Lost in the Woods II (Two Calvins) approx 15 mins.

This video shows one Calvin who has taken a Child Survival program then flashes to the second Calvin who has not. We have not incorporated a sad ending into this video. Both Calvins are located - one walks out, one is brought out on a stretcher. This video is designed for older children. We used this format so the Instructors could show the contrast between following the rules and possible consequences of not following them.

Two Instructors Videos:

Movie 1:  Class Demonstration 80 minutes

This video is Survival Instructor Gary O'Brien teaching an elementary school class. The original video is over 15 years old however it is still an exceptional example of instructional techniques. Gary is able to keep the class attentive and involved for 80 minutes.

Movie 2:  Instructor Video 37 minutes

This video is one of our current Instructors (Doug) teaching how to present the Lost in the Woods II child survival program. It is a step by step guide illustrating the rules of child survival in a lecture format. A must for any new Instructor.

Instructors Guide.

All videos are in DVD format.
